For over two decades, my life’s work has been helping students discover that every voice has a unique story to tell. As a voice and theater educator, vocal coach, and artistic director, I specialize in blending the magic of performing with the actual science of how the voice works. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from SUNY Purchase, alongside specialized training in voice pathology and musical theater pedagogy, I don't just coach songs—I teach students how to sing safely, powerfully, and with total freedom.

My approach is completely student-centered. I love breaking down the mechanics of singing into fun, practical tools that take the guesswork out of technique. Whether I am preparing a middle school student for their first solo, A high school student for a high-stakes college audition or professional callbacks, my goal is to create a supportive, inspiring space. I am deeply passionate about mentoring performers through every tier of their development, giving them the exact tools, confidence, and physiological foundation they need to sustain a vibrant, lifelong career in the arts.

My private studio and specialized workshops are designed to offer elite, tailored mentorship for artists navigating college auditions, professional callbacks, and technical vocal growth. I am deeply passionate about mentoring performers through
every tier of their development, giving them the exact tools, confidence, and physiological foundation they need to sustain a vibrant, lifelong career in the arts.

HEAR WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“Joanne is far more than a voice coach—she is a mentor and advocate who genuinely invests in her students' futures. Over the past decade, she has helped me find my voice, build my confidence, and navigate professional opportunities. She has always challenged me to become a stronger singer and a more complete performer, never allowing me to settle for what is comfortable. At the same time, she has always made me feel supported and believed in. I  couldn't recommend her more highly to any performer looking to take their craft to the next level."
